Dr. Isam Naqib
Oxford, UK
Dr Isam M al Naqib has a BSc degree in Physics, Maths and Chemistry from the Syrian University. He has a PhD in Nuclear Structure Physics in 1957-1962, both from the University of Washington, Seattle. This was followed by postdoctoral research at Florida State University, then teaching and research at Liverpool University, UK Atomic Energy Research Establishment at Harwell (AERE) and Kuwait University. Following the invasion of Kuwait in 1990, he settled in Oxford, UK. His focus became managing regional projects aimed at higher educational reform in the Arab region. The most notable of which was managing the UNDP project which lasted eight years, during which the quality of programmes and students’ performance was assessed in 36 leading universities in 14 Arab countries. He was the top consultant to the establishment of the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies in Qatar.
Dr. Marwan Al Sayeh

Dr Marwan al Sayeh is an accomplished engineer in Electrical Science with PhD and many years of experience. On behalf of the French CIB in the Moddle East, he carried out many major power projects in Kuwait, all Gulf countries and Syria. He was Consultant for various countries on power generation and distribution projects. He was awarded by France the Medal of the Legion of Honour, with rank of Officer. He is a life member of the Welfare Association and held many executive positions there.
Dr. Nabil Qaddumi

Dr. Nabil Hani Qaddumi is a successful businessman in the Arabian Gulf working in the energy sector, and has previously worked in project management. He currently chairs the board of directors of TAAWON (Welfare Association) and was the Board of Trustees chairman during three previous terms. In addition, he currently serves as chairman of the board of trustees of the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC). He served as Governor of Palestine on the Board of Governors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development from 2008 to 2019, and founded the Hani Qaddumi Scholarship Foundation (HQSF) in 2000, which has helped to graduate more than 2,000 students
Mrs. Luna Abuswairih

Ms Luna Abuswairih is Director-General and Editor-in-Chief for “Mustaqbal Arabi” Journal. She has more than twenty years in managing development Programmes in international organizations and in collaboration with intergovernmental bodies. Earlier, she held the position of Head of the Regional Office for Arab States of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) in Cairo. She was a Project Officer managing a UNDP project on youth development and participation in the refugee camps in Gaza Strip, Palestine. Ms. Abuswaireh contributed to many international and regional reports and to the preparation of Arab strategies concerned with climate challenges, disaster risk reduction and sustainable development.
Dr. Seif N Da’na

Professor Seif Da’na is an associate professor of sociology and international studies at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. He is the author of many articles, book chapters on the Palestine question and the Arab world, including “The Mismeasure of Arabs: Culture and Revolution. Arab World Geographer. vol 12, No 3-4 (2009) 136–149; Islamic Resistance in Palestine: Hamas, the Gaza War and the Future of Political Islam. Arab Studies Quarterly (ASQ). V.28 (2). 2006. Prof. Izzat Darwaza

Professor Izzat Darwazeh is the founding Director of UCL's Institute of Communications and Connected Systems (ICCS) and. the Chair of Communication Systems at UCL at the University of London since 2006. He founded UCL's Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) research group. He has been involved in setting new engineering programmes and in research and education assessments of universities in the UK and in Europe, Africa, Latin America, South East Asia and the Middle East. He serves as consultant to various organisations including governments. He serves on several academic advisory boards including the board of trustees of the Institute of Palestine Studies (from 2013), the advisory committee of the Centre of Palestine Studies at SOAS-University of London (from 2015 to 2021, the board of the Centre of Lebanese Studies (from 2022).
